Rotary Pancake Breakfast

7 – 10 am. Skuttlebutts, 557 9th Street. All you can eat! Pancakes, scrambled eggs, ham, juice, milk, coffee. Adults: $10. Children 6 to 13: $6. Children under 5: free. Benefits local scholarships.

The Great Rock Hunt

7 am on. Search for painted rocks around town. Bring Jubilee Prize Rock to Coastal Swag, 1717 US 101 to collect prize. Hosted by Rock on Port Orford #ROPO.

Paddle Parade

8 am line-up, 8:30 am launch. Pinehurst boat launch to 12th Street boat launch. Kick off the 4th of July celebrations with a trip around the lake. Welcoming kayaks, canoes, paddle boards, catamarans and other non-motorized vessels. Hosted by Port Orford Yacht Club.

Pickleball Open Play

9 – 11 am. Buffington Park.

Rummage Sale

9 am – 2 pm. 1536 US 101. Hosted by St John’s Women’s Guild.

Chalk Art Contest

10 am - 12 pm. US 101. Pick up chalk during business hours or before parade at ’Neath the Wind Realty, 736 US 101. Winners posted at 1 – 2 pm. Prizes available for two weeks.

Dinghy Races

1 pm, Battle Rock Beach.  Two-person teams row out to a flagged marker and back.  Two laps per person, four laps per team.  Hosted by the Ashdown Boats.

Pet Show

1 pm, 557 9th Street.  No entry fee.  Prizes.  All animals welcome.  Hosted by Beaver Rickel.

Land and Sand Art Contest

2 – 4 pm. Dock Beach. Award baskets for Best Sand Art, Best Kid’s Art, People's Choice Award and Best Stone and/or Driftwood Sculpture.  Judging starts at 4 pm. Hosted by the Hoffmann Family and Friends.

Jerry Can Races

2 pm, Port Orford Lifeboat Station Museum.  Two-person relay teams compete on 50-yard course.  Men, 42-pound cans.  Women, 22-pound cans.  16 years and older.  Honors Coasties who served at the rescue station from 1934 to 1970.  Hosted by Cape Blanco Heritage Society.

Keg Toss

2 pm, Buffington Park.  Entry fee, adult participants only.  Toss an empty keg the furthest and win a prize.  Hosted by Amity Valet.

Cornhole Tournament

2:30 pm sign-up, 3 pm start, 1738 US 101.  Gift basket from Rogue Credit Union.

Port Orford Jubilee Fireworks

Dusk, Battle Rock Wayside Park.  Fireworks program by the Port Orford Volunteer Fire Department.  The beach from Battle Rock to Hubbard Creek is closed on July 4th from 3 pm on.  This closure is strictly enforced.

Town Wide Yard Sales

9 am – 1 pm.  Search local yard sales for treasures throughout Port Orford.  Map of locations and items for sale will be published by July 1.

J.R. Allison Memorial Salt Water Open Beach Golf Tournament

8:30 am.  Tee off at Hubbard Creek Beach.  Finish line at Battle Rock Beach.  Nine holes.  One club.  One tennis ball.  One rule: No visible cheating.  $10 donation to scholarship fund. Hosted by Tim Hunter.

Pickleball Tournament

8:30 am warm-up, 9 am start, Buffington Park.  Hosted by Port Orford Pickleball Club.

Port Orford Summer Market

9 am – 12 pm, Corner of US 101 and 9th Street.  Outdoor market of food, crafts, and produce.

Beach Clean Up

9:30 am, Dock Beach, then Battle Rock Beach.  Bags, snacks and drinks provided by POPS.

Skate Jam

1 – 3 pm, Buffington Park.  Come see some of the best on the coast rip it up!  Music and prizes by South Coast Skateboarding.

Park Concessions

1 – 7 pm, Buffington Park.  Hot dogs, nachos, chips, drinks and otter pops by the Rowdy Wranglers 4-H Club.

Port Orford Sluggers Softball Match

5 – 7 pm, Buffington Park.  Come cheer on your favorite local players!
