Bob Dailey
Bob Dailey served in the United States Navy. In 1965, he was inducted into the service at the age of 18 years old and served in the Amphibious Navy during his commission. Beach and river landings were his appointment. He was part of the original invasion of Viet Nam and served two tours of duty there.
Bob was a 16-year volunteer with Fire and Ambulance Services in Washington. He was a Coordinator with the Puget Sound Sea and Rescue Team. He is a deep-sea diver and has worked with underwater drones. He also volunteered on a Tracking Rescue Team in Washington state to rescue people lost in the woods.
When not organizing or participating in community events, Bob is an avid fisherman. Tuna, salmon and bottom fish are his favorites and he loves to smoke his “catch”. He looks forward to celebrating the Jubilee with friends, family and neighbors!
Bill Dooley was inducted into service at the age of 18, right out of High School. He was sent to the University of Wisconsin to receive his Associate Degree for Commission, in the United States Air Force.
From there, he was sent to Hickman Field in Hawaii and from there to Tachikawa, Japan. He served as a pilot of the C-124 heavy lift transport where he delivered, “needs of life” to our service men serving duty there and in Japan and Korea.
He was a Captain in the Air Force and a Purple Heart recipient.
He then went to work for the Marin County (CA) Sheriff’s Department, working himself to Sargeant and plain clothes officer.
He was been President of the Senior Center for three years.
He has driven his 1956 Ford 100 Tractor in the parade for several years.
